He spent his first career preserving the human-animal bond; now he uses our relationships with animals to explore deep ethical dilemmas on stage. His plays have been finalists and semi-finalists at the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, Madison New Works Lab, Waterworks Festival, and The Phoenix Theatre, with staged readings across the US. An inaugural Fellow of the Dramatist Guild Foundation, he is currently adapting Jack London's White Fang for stage.
