Leslie Corn

Leslie CornLeslie Corn began her career in radio, audiobooks, and television, where as a Manhattanite without a car, she (somehow) pedaled her bike to and from the NBC Studios in Burbank, California to her first job as Assistant to the Writers on The Tonight Show.

She has served as writer, producer, director, researcher, and programmer.

Among the places her plays have been performed are the New York Theater Festival, ESPA Primary Stages, Eden Prairie Players, Plays and Pizza, The Bechdel Group, P.A.G.E.S., Dramatists Guild Playwrights Group, Players Club NYC, Times Square in the Dramatists Guild’s presentation “It Starts with a Word: Dramatists in Times Square,” Barefoot Theatre Company, New York Society Library, Debra Poneman’s Yes to Success, and Roland Tec’s Some1Speaking.

Three audiobooks that Leslie produced, directed, and adapted were nominated for Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word and Best Comedy Recording.

She sometimes keeps her hand in television storytelling as a researcher/presenter on the BBC-TV show about family, history, and story: Who Do You Think You Are?

A member of the Dramatists Guild and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Leslie still loves riding a bike!
